Who we are

This policy explains how Miron Links, LLC, a Florida limited liability company trading as Links of London ("we", "us"), collects and uses personal information through www.thelinksoflondon.com. You can reach us at marketing@thelinksoflondon.com.

Information you give us

When you place an order, create an account, subscribe to our emails or texts, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, telephone number, shipping and billing addresses, order history, and the content of your messages to us.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the card type and its last four digits.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our site we automatically collect device and browser type, operating system, IP address, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, the site or advertisement that referred you, and similar technical information. This is collected through cookies, pixels, tags and comparable technologies.

How we use information

To process, pack and deliver your orders and handle returns; to answer your questions; to send marketing emails and, where you have opted in, marketing text messages; to measure and improve our website; to advertise our products and measure whether those advertisements work; to detect and prevent fraud; and to comply with our legal obligations.

Advertising and analytics partners

We work with third parties who set cookies or pixels on our site and receive information about your activity. These currently include Shopify, Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Klaviyo. These partners may combine what they collect here with information they hold from other sites and services in order to show you advertising.

Sale and sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, allowing advertising partners to collect information about your activity for targeted advertising may be treated as a "sale" or as "sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising" under certain state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer. We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal if your browser sends one.

Text messages

If you opt in to marketing text messages, we use your telephone number to send them. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance. We do not sell or share telephone numbers collected for text messaging with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Service providers

We share information with the companies that help us run the business — our e-commerce platform, payment processors, shipping carriers, email and text messaging platforms, and customer service tools — and only so that they can perform those services for us. We may also disclose information where required by law, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of your information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, email marketing@thelinksoflondon.com. We will verify your identity before responding. An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf with proof of authorisation. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will respond to the appeal within the period required by your state’s law.

Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations. Marketing contact information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at marketing@thelinksoflondon.com and we will promptly delete it. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be brought to your attention on the site.
